Just toooooo weird

Some things, I just do NOT get. Some artist makes creations out of food. His latest, a Chocolate Jesus.

You can read about it on this CNN article, and many other places on the web.

Okay - I'll admit to looking and I saw the full frontal view. I'll admit it does offend me. And I don't think it offends me as a Christian. I was trying to picture other "chocolate sculptures" in my mind. I mean I think I'd get creeped out at a chocolate David.

Here's what I'm saying ...... there are places for chocolate, and there are places for nudity, and there are certainly places for chocolate and nudity. I haven't found an inappropriate place for chocolate, I'm sure there are places that I'd prefer not to have nudity (like, say, a preschool, not needing a full sized David there). But when it comes to chocolate *and* nudity, I'm thinking behind closed doors and consenting adults.

I'm just saying.

My sweet lord (hallelujah)
Hm, my lord (hallelujah)
My, my, my lord (hallelujah)

I really want to know you (hallelujah)
Really want to go with you (hallelujah)
Really want to show you lord (aaah)
That it won't take long, my lord (hallelujah)

Me -- I'm going back to
The chocolate bunny

I'm just sayin...

The evil Jewish guys are at it again.

Today I'm grateful for,

Those guys. They are EVIL I tell you, EVIL. So today I'm trying to figure out what to do for lunch. This week is spring break, so my kids aren't going off to school. I'm not getting up as early as I do when they have school, and I haven't made the time had the time to make myself lunch. Around the corner (okay like 1/2 a mile away) is
this Jewish deli that I've been known to frequent.

EVERY day they have Chicken Soup -- you could have it with Matzo ball, Noodles, or Kreplach (Jewish Wontons). Honestly, I can't speak for the Noodles or the Kreplach because I've NEVER gotten past the Matzo.

Every weekday they also have a special soup. Many times I've gone in and had their special soup and I've never run into one that I didn't like. I've had a few that I didn't try because they just didn't sound appealing to me. For instance yesterday was a vegetarian spring vegetable. I'm sure it was tasty but it just sounded too healthy for my tastes.

So, today as I'm debating whether to drive home and make a lunch and bring it back, or go out somewhere I check the soup schedule.

Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup

EVIL I tell you. Evil incarnate.

I better run before the lunch rush.

It's a strange strange world we live in.

In today's news, there was talk about how global climate changes might cause there to be some novel climates, and how some climates can disappear altogether. You can look here for information from the Proceeds of the National Academy of Sciences.

MEANWHILE -- Levester Johnson of Akron, Ohio is taking his dog out for a jog, as we see in this picture in the Chicago Tribune ...

Yesterday morning, in Akron, Ohio, it was about 54 degrees at 7:00. Certainly not too cold or too warm. It wasn't raining or snowing, and was a bit overcast (so there'd be no problem with too much sun in the eyes).

And in case you're wondering - Mr. Johnson of Akron, Ohio needed to HURRY to jog his dog so that he would

HAVE TIME TO GO TO THE GYM!!!!

From my best guess, Mr. Johnson drives a Mitsubushi Endeavor. According to the Green Guide for vehicles on the EPA website, the Air Pollution score for the Endeavor is a 6, and the Greenhouse gas score is a 4. (As a comparison, the AP score for the Toyota Prius is a 9.5, and the Greenhouse Gas score is a 10. A Toyota Sequoia has a air pollution score of 3 and a greenhouse gas score of 2).

See the epa website for more information.

What day is it????

This morning I was reading a friend's blog and discovered that today is Make Up Your Own Holiday Day.

SOOOOOOOOO, is there something worth celebrating that you don't have a special day for? I'd like to hear some ideas, and then just as soon as I come up with one I'll tell you my amazingly wonderful idea.
